Kolonics winery and guest house is also a perfect venue for weddings and family events. Our soon-to-open restaurant awaits visitors with local ingredients and seasonal dishes.

Castle of Somló
The castle is located in a forested area in the northern part of the mountain. It provided a great view of the landscape, so it is also a strategically important castle. It was built after the Tartar invasion, and in the 14th century it was also a royal castle. Its most significant role was in the 15th century, when Tamás Bakócz converted it into an Italian Renaissance castle. After the Rákóczi War of Independence, its strategic role became insignificant and began to deteriorate for a long time.
The floor plan of the castle is irregular, with internal towers and several courtyards. The intact cable-stayed bridge leads through the chasm, which opens into an alley, which now leads to the forecourt. From here we can get to the inner courtyard via a cable-stayed bridge and a narrow alley.
Today, the castle is under renovation, but you can go out to the wall section with a wonderful view, from where you can see the city of Pápa and Mount Ság in clear weather.
The lookout was built in 1938 from local red, slag-structured, slag basalt (hopoka).
The four-storey tower offers a 360-degree panorama. In clear weather approx. We can see 50 settlements, in the distance you can shine on the waters of Lake Balaton and the ranges of the Alps can be seen.
Approx. 100 meters away is a basalt organ-shaped monument erected to mark the 50th anniversary of the lookout. Next to it is a large cross, below which is a statue of St. Stephen.
There is also a buffet at the bottom of the lookout, especially on weekends. There are several tables and benches around the lookout.

The family wineries are waiting for everyone on Somló Hill. The pleasant wine event is, of course, about wine. The pleasant atmosphere even moves into the vines.
You can visit the cellars, but you can also visit the vineyards or listen to the bands performing at the event. The unique natural environment and the excellent atmosphere attract many people to this popular event. In the valley of the mountain, local artisanal wines are available in all quantities.
There are magnificent views of the old castle while wine tastings and delicious food take place in the cool cellars. The varied programs and special dishes are hugely popular every year in the area of the nature reserve. Those who are just in the mood can enjoy the fresh air lying on a blanket. The family event is really a pleasant experience for all ages.
